The Spamming of Utada Hikaru's Twitter pt.3

I did it.  It's done.  Interestingly enough just before cutting and pasting the lyrics into Twitter, I had a moment of worry, actually.

Yep. like that.

     See, this could go a number of ways actually and my big worry was that instead of being a little funny or actually attracting a little positive attention.  It could instead be received as weird, odd, creepy, really stupid, etc.  Of course I didn't think about it too much before I was ready to start sending it.  Nobody wants to have a moment like this.

      But the chances of this coming back to me are very rare.  Granted my full name is on the twitter account, but I haven't even used it since December or January.  Also, while being really silly and weird, the only people that would think so are really too sensitive about these things.  Cause in all honesty who cares that much to make a big point about it.  So I got over it and sent it anyway.  This is basically one of those moments that you see internet posts about.

         The Critique:

                - Utada Hikaru hasn't actually sent a tweet since April 23.  So the chances of this being noticed was small.  So I really should have done it months ago, despite how awkward this could easily turn out.  So this is a project that I waited too long to finish.

                  - The lyrics definitely could have been better. I have written better actually, so that is something to take into consideration as well.  I also could have just tried to have completely re-written the song talking about how one song is not enough.  Though then again this wouldn't haven't gotten finished either.

                  - Also I probably shouldn't call this a networking attempt, since there is no actual networking involved.  She is in the music business which is not at all related to story boarding or comics.  Really I was getting bored and had to try some random crazy idea.  Really doubt I will hear anything about it.

     Alright, re-writing is done.  Really, I only changed one line.  You can see if you can find it.

      Now comes the spamming part.  I need to copy and paste every line of this as a twitter message as send it.  It is currently 7:23 a.m. in Tokyo, Japan. So I think that I will wait a couple of hours actually.  I am doing this really only for the sake of finishing it and to break up the monotony of doing the Gangam Style Project every day.  However that is no excuse to not actually put some effort into getting it read.  Of course, she could also not even be in Tokyo but that is my best shot.

The Spamming of Utada Hikaru's Twitter pt.1

            Many months ago, like back in November, I was missing the music of my favorite singer Utada Hikaru.  So I decided to attempt a One In A Million Networking Attempt and write a parody to Come Back To Me as a song asking her to make music for me.   My original idea was to send it as an email.

          The snag became that there was is apparently no way to be able to send her an email if you are from America.  Or at least not that I have been able to find.  She has a website, but you have to fill out a for on it to be able to send an email and it refuses to work for me.  I tried sending emails and twitters to her and her staff with no reply.  So this project sat on the back burner for awhile.

            I finally have gotten tired of waiting and decided to finish it.  Actually while writing the parody she released Sakura Nagashi, so I need to re work the lyrics a little.  then I can spam here Twitter account with the lyrics.

The Storyboard Animatic of Learning pt. 16

          So here is something that I did, that I feel is very smart.  I have these two scenes to draw, and one of them is really nothing more than a camera pan backwards.  So instead of of just redoing the whole environment, and starting from scratch on the next shot I made this in Illustrator.

If you'll notice, it is the same drawing with the problematic stairs.  Another 

reason to not it from scratch.  The outline is the size of the pieces of card stock that I use. 

         This way I could just tape the card stock over it and use a light board to make my life a whole lot easier.

A little after the light box stage but I am sure that you get the idea.
